Despite Akuma having been marked as „an important character” in the plot of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, he’ll show up in another game, too.
Street Fighter V, which is very unlikely to be ported to the Xbox One, will expand with an old-new character, namely Akuma. New character = new fighting scene – you can have a look at that in the video below.
A few fans already noticed how Akuma‘s kanji on his back is different from the regular one. Most of the time, the kanji character would mean „heaven” – not this time: it’s „God” for once. The last time a similar kanji was used was back in Capcom vs. SNK 2. The change means that – similarly to Necalli – Akuma might be able to evolve into a stronger character (Shin Akuma) with the V-Trigger.
No release date is known yet, but Capcom confirmed an appearance at the PlayStation Experience (December 3-4), which means that Akuma is likely to get a launch before 2016 ends on both the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
