A Shooter Is Getting A Free Weekend (On Consoles, Too)!

You can spend a weekend with shooting some foes, and you won’t need a PC either if you prefer consoles.

Blizzard announced that Overwatch is getting a free weekend between November 18 and 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even PC. Are there limitations? Not really: all 22 heroes (Sombra is not included yet, it seems), 13 maps, and four game modes will await the players, who can also gain levels, and open loot boxes. Of course, if you buy Blizzard‘s game, your progress will be lifted over as well.

Attention, you will need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to access the free weekend! The event starts at 11 AM Pacific/2 PM Eastern on November 18, and it will end at 1 PM Pacific/4 PM Eastern in all regions on November 21 (22). You’ll need roughly 12 gigabytes of free disk space to download the game – not too large.

After this event, we wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard announces that they reached 25 million players in Overwatch by early 2017…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
