Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare: The First Week Sales Are Way Down!

The futuristic warfare didn’t get a lot of interest by the gamers during the launch week!

According to VGChartz, Infinity Ward‘s game had a 1.8 million result after the first week. ~830K were sold on the PlayStation 4, followed by ~781K on the Xbox One, and the remaining ~189K were sold on Steam. Mind you; these figures show only the physical and PC Steam sales, but still, there is a significant drop even compared to last year’s Black Ops III! Treyarch’s game had 6.6 million sales after the first week, even though it was available on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 as well. If we go further back, Modern Warfare 2 and 3 both got to roughly ten million in just one week, and back then, only the PS3, X360, and PC were the target platforms…

Since 2011, the franchise is on a downward slope – with total sales, Call of Duty only hit thirty million with Modern Warfare 3. This year, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 both beat CoD to the punch in the stores, so Activision is in a tough situation.

Perhaps that bad first impression saying that the remastered Modern Warfare isn’t available separately turned a lot of potential customers off from buying the game. This gun backfired!

Titanfall 2 is the best FPS this year. Battlefield 1 got boring after the first week of playing. Titanfall 2 multi player is smooth and fun unlike the boring battlefield 1 multi player.
