[PSX 2016] Marvel vs. Capcom Goes Into Infinite [VIDEO]

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite – time to get used to this name!

The rumors were right again (thus proving Yoshinori Ono’s comments wrong), as the new Marvel vs. Capcom title, which will not be numbered “4”, is already in development at Capcom. It will utilize Unreal Engine 4, similarly to Street Fighter V. The announcement trailer had a bit of false illusion in the first frames: Mega Man X shows up, but knowing how Keiji Inafune, „the Mega Man guy” left Capcom over six years ago, there’s no chance of him getting his own game ever again…

Still, there’s Ryu, Iron Man, Captain America and much more from both Marvel‘s and Capcom‘s side. Who will be the antagonist? We’ll see the answer by the end of next year.

As an extra bonus, Capcom and Sony announced that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is now available on PlayStation 4, so the 2011 fighter is now playable on the current Sony console as well.
