Capcom Plans To Revive Some Of Its Franchises

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is just the first step in the Japanese company’s „regeneration.”

According to ShackNews, Capcom is starting to begin focusing on those franchises that did not get a new title in the recent years. They were listed in their press release. There are quite a few – let’s see the list.

Mega Man, Mega Man X, Dino Crisis, Lost Planet, Onimusha, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, Final Fight, Breath of Fire. Huh, there are some names on the list that launched as early as the eighties, nineties. There are platformers, beat’em ups and even RPGs.

Capcom‘s thoughts have potential, but they have to make new games, too, not just re-release the old ones with not a lot of work done on them.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
