Run away from Jason… if you can!

Thanks to IGN First, we received a lengthy, seventeen-minute long video of Friday the 13th: The Game‘s multiplayer, featuring an entire match. The goal here is to escape from the clutches of Jason, and you can pull that off in multiple ways – you don’t have to learn everything as the game will show you solutions from the get-go.

For some reason, this mode (remember, the singleplayer comes separately!) is similar to Dead by Daylight, although IllFonic/Gun Media’s approach feels more sophisticated, not to mention the seemingly higher need for teamwork to succeed. (Lone wolves will be caught by the masked killer!)

Friday the 13th: The Game‘s multiplayer launches in early 2017, followed by the campaign in Summer 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
