Elite: Dangerous Remembers Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher, known for her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, will be remembered by Frontier Developments.

Last year, they already commemorated a sci-fi actor, as they have named a planet and a ship after Leonard Nimoy (he was Spock in Star Trek), which means they are experienced in remembering deceased sci-fi actors/actresses.

Elite: Dangerous‘s director and studio producer Michael Brooks has confirmed in a forum post that the game’s next update will add a new outpost called Fisher’s Rest.
