A Castlevania Animated Series By Adventure Time’s Executive Producer?

Adventure’s Time’s one of the leading staff members might be working on Konami’s franchise heading to our screens in an animated format.

Fred Seibert worked for both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network (with the latter channel, he was the last president of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon studio between 1992 and 1996 before CN completely took over), and now he’s working on Adventure Time, which is slated to end in 2018.

Screencrush talks about Seibert showing up as a guest on Nickelodeon’s Nick Animated Podcast. Quoting him, „we have a project now that we’re doing that needs to go unnamed based on one of the most world-famous video games of the last 30 years, that we’ve had in our shop for 12 years without being able to get it started. But there were great characters and a great story, and eventually, we got it going.”

Adi Shankar talked a year ago (!) about how he is working on a super violent Castlevania mini-series with Seibert and Kevin Klonde. A few hours ago, he wrote on Facebook that he nor confirms, neither denies this rumor. Suspicious, isn’t it?

Konami hasn’t been a popular company recently (and that’s an understatement) in gaming scenes, but maybe this is one of their tries to win our hearts back.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
