So, not only Skate but Tony Hawk as well is eyeing a return…?

Tony Hawk‘s Pro Skater 5 was one of the most disappointing games in the autumn of 2015, as it was a significant drop in quality in comparison to its four previous numbered installment. Because of that difference, the critics and customers both panned the game. Still, the aging skater is potentially working on a new title.

Hawk told Jenkem Magazine that he is working on a new game, and it will not be published by Activision, which would be the first after roughly 1.5 decades. „I’m potentially working on something, but it’s so early I couldn’t talk about it. I don’t have any contracts signed, but it’s exciting. I feel like it’s with the right people so I should know more in the next couple months,” he said.

Did the IP get bought by another publisher? If so, will it be Sony? After all, the first two Pro Skaters were excellent titles on the PlayStation before the launch of the black success, the PS2.

Let’s hope that THPS6 (if it gets called as such) will not be a flop as 5 was…
