Fumito Ueda started working on a new title.

Ueda, who’s been working on ICO and Shadow of Colossus before The Last Guardian, talked about his future in a new video. „After many years of game design, I have finally been entrusted with a franchise that is near and dear to my heart. I hope you all look forward to this exciting new chapter in my career,” he says in the video. What game is this?

Madden 2018, which will arrive in 2018. The video was revealed during the Independent Game Festival Awards show, and before you’d find your jaw on the floor, don’t worry, it’s a hoax created by Mega64. Don’t worry, Ueda isn’t going to use his talent to work on an annual sports game…

Still, we don’t know what the Japanese gentleman is working on, but at least he and Mega64 made us smile with this „fake video.”
