Gran Turismo Sport: Get Your Gloves On, The Beta Is Coming [VIDEO]

Surprise! Gran Turismo Sport is preparing for a closed beta, and it will launch shortly.

Polyphony Digital announced last autumn that Gran Turismo Sport‘s release window got pushed back to 2017, and we haven’t heard much of the game since then, and for a good reason. The developers announced that the closed beta would arrive in the next few days!

During the closed beta, cars and tracks will be rotated daily. Also, „users will see how the Driver Profile is integrated within GT Sport. The introduction of Sportsmanship Rating (tracks a player’s behavior and manners on-track) and Driver Rating (represents the overall speed of the player and how well they perform in races) will ensure those that race online will be equally matched, naturally creating a balanced group of competitive drivers for every race,” the announcement says.

There will be two beta phases. Phase 1 is limited to North America only, and it will start on March 17. The second phase is going to be available for Europe at a later, unannounced date.

Maybe we can see Gran Turismo Sport launch during the summer. Who knows?
