Holy Xbox!

Hungary now has a holy console.

The pensioners’ club in Orosháza, Hungary, has now a consecrated console, an Xbox One, to be exact, because they saw that another one already became a success in a nearby city in Szarvas. Therefore, the club applied for financial support to be able to purchase a console, and on Tuesday, they ended up consecrating their new Xbox One, according to evangelikus.hu.

This unexpected event means two things. One of them is that not only young people play videogames but also old folks as well, plus we don’t see the evangelical church supporting hardware that’s usually (respect to the exceptions, the pensioners in Orosháza here) not used by retired people.

What next? The Pope showing up with a Nintendo Switch, citing that it can provide fun and harmless entertainment?

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
