No Man’s Sky Received A Massive Update [VIDEO]

Here’s The Path Finder update… how funny, Hello Games refer to Mass Effect: Andromeda with its name.

No Man’s Sky wasn’t a complete game per se upon its August launch on PlayStation 4 and PC. The developers didn’t give up, though: after Foundation, they have created a second major update for their game. Introducing The Path Finder update.

The game now supports the PlayStation 4 Pro, HDR is enabled, and there are also multiple high-resolution textures – you can save the improved visuals’ memories with the Photo mode. Exocrafts have shown up, which means you can travel faster around the planets, carry more minerals, or use them on race tracks that you can create. No Man’s Sky slowly moves over to multiplayer, as we can now visit other players’ bases or even race tracks (and on PC, sharing is even easier with Steam Workshop).

With the Permadeath mode, in Survival, if you die, the game ends, and if your ship gets damaged, it will crash land on one of the planets – make sure to be prepared for the worst scenarios!

Weapons (which got multiple new types) and ships got specializations, and as the freighters can carry multiple ships, you can switch between your classes effortlessly. The ships also got ranked C, A, B, S (from worst to best) – you can sell the old ones for a few credits to get a better one.

Space stations got new traders, who will use a new currency called Nanite Clusters. New blueprints will be regularly stocked by them, and you’ll need a high standing with a race to get the best blueprints. A new trader will also show up at your base to sell building constructs. Your base also got 40 new parts – new colors, materials, decals and furniture.

More details on the game’s website – isn’t it too late, though?
