Resident Evil Revelations Is Heading To New Platforms

Capcom continues their re-releasing tendency.

Re-releasing Dead Rising 1-2, as well as Resident Evil 4-5-6 was intentional last year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – for the Japanese company, this has become a significant portion of their strategy to make older games available on newer platforms. Resident Evil Revelations, which originally got launched on the Nintendo 3DS, then on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2013, is following the trend.

Capcom confirmed on Twitter that Resident Evil Revelations would be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in both physical and digital format this autumn, but more details will be revealed later.

Instead of making older, more requested games getting re-released like Outbreak, they pull out something from the previous console generation. Logical!
