Is Musou Stars Getting A Western Release?

Koei Tecmo might be getting some confidence in the West after Nioh.

Nioh has become the publisher’s best-selling title in no time, and perhaps this is the reason why they are considering localizing Musou Stars, a hack’n’slash that launched in late March in Japan on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

They have already acted by registering a trademark for Warriors All-Stars in Europe, which could be the English name for Musou Stars, and using All-Stars is logical as well. Koei Tecmo‘s franchises’ flagship characters all show up in the crop. Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden, William from Nioh, Zhao Yun from Dynasty Warriors, Sophie from Atelier Sophie, and so on.

Killing hundreds of enemies has to be made interesting, and if Omega Force, the developers, have pulled that off, perhaps Warriors All-Stars could gain a bit of attention.
