Will There Be A Nioh Sequel?

Koei Tecmo has struck gold in February, so the question is reasonable.

Nioh, developed by Team Ninja, was a pleasant surprise. No wonder that Japanese magazine Famitsu has asked the game’s director, Fumihiko Yasuda, about the possibility of a sequel. He answered that they haven’t decided on the development yet, but he is considering his options, especially seeing how Nioh was a worldwide success, as it sells well not just in Japan, but in Europe and in North America, too.

Indeed, Nioh is one of the best games of this year on PlayStation 4 so far. Team Ninja has managed to take the Souls game style and even improve it, while also representing Japanese culture and a bit of history as well. If the sequel doesn’t take over a decade to be complete (that was the case with Nioh), then there will be no problems.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
