DiRT 4: Codemasters' Genius Shows Again [VIDEO]

With DiRT Rally, the developers have gone back to their roots, and with the „fourth dirt,” they might be continuing their upward trend.

Thanks to PlayStation Access, we got more gameplay of DiRT 4, showing a bit of rally, rallycross, and landrush, and as there’s not a lot of commentary included in these roughly 13.5 minutes, the video has an almost full authentic feel to it.

We can see a bit of the damage model in action as well, as a Volkswagen Polo manages to make a bit (?) of contact with the barrier, which isn’t a healthy thing for a vehicle. The driver also ends up making a mistake, but unfortunately, the bumper camera doesn’t show how much damage did the Ford Focus receive.

DiRT 4 launches on June 9 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If it manages to just reach the same quality that DiRT Rally had, it’ll be a job well done for Codemasters.
