Serious Sam Goes Retro [VIDEO]

A new game, but not in your regular format!

Croteam has teamed up with Crackshell, developers of Hammerwatch, to create Serious Sam: Bogus Detour, which will be published by Devolver Digital in the early days of summer on PC.

„Battle through beautiful Mediterranean locales, dangerous biological weapons labs and even high-tech moon bases as a one-man wrecking crew or in four-player online cooperative for maximum chaos! Dominate the chaotic Survival and Versus modes or make your mods, modes, and even total conversions with the include game editor. Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour is the biggest little Serious Sam game ever made,” the official statement says.

Let’s hope that Croteam is silently working on a new, big installment as well. Serious Sam was one of the iconic games of the first half of the 2000s: the first two games were almost brainless entertainment with killing lots of hilarious enemies. Will Bogus Detour be a quality game? We’ll see shortly.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
