Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: Xbox/PC-Exclusive For A Year Again?

The next Tomb Raider game might be out on the Xbox One first again.

Rise of the Tomb Raider launched in November 2015 on Xbox One, but the PlayStation 4 version a year later was spiced up to celebrate Lara’s 20th anniversary. Meanwhile, Eidos Montreal is possibly working on the next Tomb Raider title, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.

If we can believe Shinobi602’s tweet (and why shouldn’t we? He seems to be an insider, and he usually has proper information about games), Shadow of the Tomb Raider could be the game that Microsoft is going to advertise big time. It’d fit the bill of an „unannounced, major AAA title,” wouldn’t it?

Even though his comment might be an underhanded punch at Microsoft with the „Good job” part (as all games are now going to be out on both Windows 10 and Xbox One, except for the canned Scalebound, which has been developed by PlatinumGames for years), we may see shortly what this game would be… even though there are no plans to see Lara at E3.
