Nintendo Switch Pulls In April; Ubisoft Is Preparing Something

NPD has revealed the April results.

In the United States, the Nintendo Switch was the best selling console again – in March, it was expected to happen as it debuted in that month, but pulling in April as well, defeating the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One with its 280K+ sales, is a surprise. The fun fact is that together with the 3DS sales (68K+), Nintendo had almost half of the console sales in the US. The best-selling game for the platform was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 460K physical, 90K digital sales… and all this with an April 28 (!!!) release date!

Ubisoft still firmly stands by the Switch. The company’s CEO, Yves Guillemot said at their latest financial earnings call that Ubisoft still wants to be Nintendo‘s number 1 third-party developer as they were in the past decade, and they also have an unannounced game in the works for the platform. (Our guess would be the Mario X Rabbids RPG…)

Let’s see how Nintendo fares in May!

She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
