Nintendo Follows Sony And Microsoft

PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live Gold – Nintendo joins these two services.

The big N has announced Switch Online Services, which in short sounds somewhat funny: SOS – congratulations, Nintendo! We learned about its pricing and its release window.

Let’s start with the pricing. A monthly subscription is 4 dollars. A quarter-year subscription takes eight bucks. The cheapest solution is the yearly subscription for 20 dollars, which is 1/3 of the PlayStation Plus and the Xbox Live Gold price.

To IGN, Nintendo said that the voice chat app for your smartphones would launch this summer in a test format. It will be limited in its functionality, but we don’t know what it means at the moment. To Kotaku, the big N said the following about Classic Game Selections: „Subscribers can play as many of the games as they want, as often as they like, as long as they have an active subscription.”

You must subscribe to play online, but you will also get discounts on eShop items. The service launches in 2018. Until then, you can play online for free.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
