Although Sony isn’t confirming anything, we may just see another price cut happening!
Wario64 on Twitter managed to get a hold of a Target ad for the week of June 11, and it includes the gold color PlayStation 4 with a 1 TB HDD (Sony silently increased the hard disk space in the PS4 Slim with no price increase), and not for 300 dollars, either! 250 dollars – a fairly competitive price, even if it’s just a limited model. (Sony, as expected, is not saying a word about the subject…)
Don’t think that Target is lying, though: in 2015, before the official announcement, they were right about Sony preparing a price cut for the PS4 from 400 to 350 dollars. The Japanese firm confirmed it shortly after that.
Seeing the success of the Nintendo Switch and the appearance of the Project Scorpio, Sony might be preparing another price cut.
