„Overwatch” With Stormtroopers And Kung Fu Panda… Made In China, Of Course! [VIDEO]

Blizzard will have a few unwanted words with the developers.

Hero Mission, simply put, is an extremely blatant Overwatch ripoff, which can be played in China only here. Pretty much every character got copied, and the game also uses things from Star Wars or even Rambo. Sure, they tried to change up a few thing here and there by making McCree female for example, but the first video below, made by Alpharad, shows a direct comparison between the original Overwatch and this mobile title. The similarities are unbelievable. Even the maps didn’t avoid the good old ctrl+c, ctrl+v treatment.

The game will likely be taken down by Blizzard and Disney. It’s not the first time that a successful game got copied in China, though. In 2011, Team Fortress 2’s ripoff Final Combat became known on the Internet, which had quite similar assets and gameplay to Valve’s shooter.
