Bubsy Returns, And All We Ask Is WHY? [VIDEO]

And with the bobcat, Accolade also seems to be revived. What on Earth is going on here?

Bubsy 3D was one of the worst early PlayStation titles. It was so bad that its planned SEGA Saturn port got canned altogether. The bobcat flopped yet again (its cartoon series never got further than a pilot either), but someone thought it’s a good idea to bring him back…

„Bubsy the Woolies Strike Back is an all new Bubsy adventure featuring Bubsy in a bevy of exotic locations as he travels the planet looking for the beloved Golden Fleece. Bubsy must use all of his classic moves and a few new ones to dodge and out bobcat a battalion of Woolies, sharks, and best, not mention the gnarliest UFO bosses to ever grace a Bubsy adventure. The wisecracking lynx also adds over a 100 new one-liners to his lexicon to keep fans guessing what he’ll say next!

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will also mark the return of the Accolade game brand. Accolade is well known to retro gamers everywhere for a series of arcade, action and sports classics from the mid 80’s to the 2000s.

The game features the Havoc game engine designed by German developer Black Forest, the same team that created the wildly popular Gianna’s Sisters franchise,” the press release says.

Tommo, who owns most of Accolade’s properties, tried to be funny with a Bubsy-interview, and still, the game, which is out this autumn on PlayStation 4 and PC, doesn’t look too promising.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
