Monster Hunter Takes Another Shot At The West

The game will be called Monster Hunter World, it seems.

As usual, the information first popped up on the NeoGAF forums that Capcom silently trademarked a game called Monster Hunter World, even in Norway. It could be another action-RPG title. The franchise is mostly popular in Japan, but unfortunately, the Western audience doesn’t seem to appreciate these games on a large scale.

As we don’t know what this game is going to be, we should rather wait for the E3 to reveal everything. Maybe it’s not going to be another Nintendo 3DS title… although seeing how the franchise didn’t get a lot of desktop console releases in the West, it may happen. (3 Ultimate came out on Wii U, but who knows, really?)
