A Standalone, Physical Modern Warfare Remastered? Yes!

Activision’s plans do not stay behind locked doors.

Previously, we wrote multiple times how 2007’s Call of Duty, Modern Warfare’s remaster could be split off 2016’s Infinite Warfare’s Legacy version. Now, CharlieIntel posted multiple images about the PlayStation 4, physical version of the standalone Modern Warfare Remastered, which seems to launch on June 27… for forty dollars. The Xbox One version will follow suit a month later, on July 27, for the same price, which is reasonable seeing Sony’s and Activision’s partnership.

These images do not look fake anymore, so even if Activision confirms the information, you should prepare your wallet in case you didn’t want to buy Infinite Warfare.
