Rebellion: Evil Genius 2 Is In Development! [VIDEO]

The British team announced that their strategy/god game would get a sequel.

The team has recently worked on Battlezone for the PlayStation VR, as well as the Sniper Elite series. They have Rogue Trooper Redux, as well as Strange Brigade in development, and you can now add Evil Genius 2 to the pile. The first game launched in the autumn of 2004 on PC, and there was also Evil Genius Online in 2013. Already at this point, Rebellion was considering the sequel, but they decided to focus on other projects to maintain a high quality of the game, which is not going to be free-to-play.

Therefore, Rebellion is attacking, and seeing how they did not rule out other platforms (their main focus is the PC version at the moment!), we may eventually see Evil Genius 2 on PlayStation 4.
