This weekend isn’t even enough to mostly complete the game, but there’s a solution to that as well.
The term massive is referring to both quality and the amount of playtime, as Monolith’s game, 2014’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor wasn’t a weak game whatsoever. You can now play it on Steam and Xbox Live for free, as the title got free to download and play until 1 PM Pacific on Sunday. There’s no limitation, just install the game and have fun.
There’s also a price cut on the game’s Game of the Year Edition: on Xbox One, you can buy it at a lower price until July 17, on PlayStation 4 until July 11, and on Steam until July 10, respectively, for just 4 dollars/euros. Not a bad deal.
It’s a good idea to complete the game, as you can move over your main orc enemy and its partner to the sequel, Shadow of War, which launches on October 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
