We’re less than a week away from the launch of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age – have a comparison between the two console generations.

Candyland has recorded some footage of the first few hours of the game to make a face-to-face comparison. If we add that The Zodiac Age is also going to come with PlayStation 4 Pro support, the differences might strike out even more than before. The difference of technology in just one decade can show how much can change in gaming, too.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will launch on July 11 on PlayStation 4. Seeing how the original was only on PS2, it’s unlikely to see Square Enix port the game to other platforms as well. As a bonus, have a look at a 28-minute gameplay video.
