Paradox: From Price Raise To Reimbursing

In May, the publisher raised its prices on Steam, causing a lot of disappointment, especially in Western Europe and Russia.

Those who bought a Paradox Interactive-published game on Steam between May 17 and July 6 may claim a free game or two free DLCs. As the company thinks it’s not possible to refund everyone the difference in price, they want to give out games/DLCs worth more than the price raise. Those who pre-ordered Steel Division: Normandy 44 before May 17 outside the US (as it was the only unaffected region) can also claim the freebie(s). The price raise was also rolled back, and the prices for the games will be frozen for three months.

Here are the free games:

  • Crusader Kings 2
  • Europa Universalis 4
  • Hearts of Iron 4
  • Magicka 2
  • Stellaris
  • Tyranny

…and the DLCs:

  • Crusader Kings 2: Monks and Mystics
  • Europa Universalis 4: Third Rome
  • Hearts of Iron 4: Death or Dishonor
  • Stellaris: Utopia
  • Tyranny: Tales from the Tiers

If you want to take advantage, follow the instructions on this site.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
