These PlayStation 4 Games Are NieR: Automata’s Creator’s Favorite

Yoko Taro revealed the seven games on the PlayStation 4 that he considers the best for him.

On the PlayStation Blog, the post shows that Taro seems to like adventure games and RPGs: Horizon Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy XV, and The Last Guardian are prime examples of these genres. He also mentioned Danganronpa, a not-so-mainstream visual novel franchise in the West.

The sixth and seventh games could be a surprise, as the last two places were filled by Resogun, a 2D shooter, and Life is Strange, which is going to receive both a sequel and a prequel. (And these two games, as well as Horizon, are not Japanese developments, either!)

A point of trivia: Dontnod’s first game, Remember me, still didn’t receive Japanese localization, while Life is Strange got it.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
