In the original Life is Strange, Chloe was voiced by Ashly Burch, who cannot reprise his role due to union action, but she will still act as a story consultant. She is going to be replaced by Rhianna (no, NOT Rihanna…) DeVries, the motion capture artist behind Chloe in the original game. We believe her voice is perfect: a slightly younger Chloe with not as much confidence.

People are far from perfect – the developer diary underlines this statement, and it doesn’t feel like Before the Storm, which will explain Chloe’s and Rachel’s background story in three chapters, would be a terrible project for now, but we can’t try the game out yet.

However, we will do so on August 31, when the first chapter drops on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
