The little SNES isn’t even available yet, but they might be putting together the next console…
The NeoGAF forums discovered that Nintendo had filed a trademark for four controllers. The NES, SNES, and Switch controllers are understandable, but the fourth one is suspicious for us: the N64 controller.
This trademark cannot be coincidental. Earlier this year, Nintendo registered the SNES controller, and since then, we know that the little console will launch this autumn for 80 dollars/euros (before scalpers buy up all of them…) – it means we may see the Nintendo 64 Mini around the autumn of 2018, and the announcement could be happening in about a year.
We’ll see what Nintendo’s plans are in about a few months. Our money is on the next mini console.
