How many millions of players does DICE’s World War I shooter have?

Electronic Arts has published that in roughly three months, their player base has expanded by two million players. Knowing how the last public figure stood at 19 million, you can easily figure out that Battlefield 1 has over 21 million players at the moment. It will likely grow higher than that: September will see the launch of In the Name of the Tsar DLC, plus Electronic Arts promised news regarding the game for the Gamescom.

Congratulations for their success, but don’t forget that there are games with even more players than Battlefield 1. (Blizzard’s Overwatch is a prime example.)
