Sinner: Dark Souls, Made In China [VIDEO]

A somewhat… familiar game was announced at the „Chinese E3”.

DarkStar Games, whose page is unaccessible at the moment, has announced Sinner at ChinaJoy. It’s pretty much Dark Souls down to a tee; even the name is inspired by Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. According to Inven, the playable build at the booth had a boss that NOBODY could defeat, which meant everyone saw the „You are defeated, you are not ready yet” text every single time. Either DarkStar messed up the balance in the worst possible way, or they intentionally made the boss so hard that nobody could progress so that they could cover the later parts of the potentially unfinished game.

The video’s quality is not the best, and it’s likely that Sinner will never be out in the West, but it’s still an interesting thing to see.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
