Ninja Theory Still Sees The Future In Virtual Reality [VIDEO]

The developers of Hellblade and DmC: Devil May Cry haven’t given up on VR headsets.

WCCFTech had an interview with the company’s co-founder and creative director, Tameem Antoniades, and the interview went into a few subjects. One of them was that even though there are over one hundred employees, the Hellblade team was (yes, was – the game is out next week) small, which allows them to work on multiple titles, including new IPs as well.

Ninja Theory also sees a lot of potential in virtual reality: they released a 3D trailer last year for Hellblade (embedded below), and for a good reason: they believe virtual reality will dominate gaming, and all the critique will be disappearing with the third generation headsets.

That’s a bold comment (especially the VR one), but at least it’s modest.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
