F1 2017: The PlayStation 4 Pro Will Offer Significant Improvements [VIDEO]

The Formula-1 game adaptation on the stronger PlayStation 4 will have a few differences from the default console.

Codemasters has previously confirmed that their next game is going to use HDR on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X and Xbox One S. We can now add what the PS4 Pro will offer on top of the HDR: F1 2017 will run on a 4K resolution with sixty frames per second with the usage of checkerboard upscaling. Thus, the developers were able to improve the precision of the shadows, the reflections, and also implement better quality shaders in the game.

The game will look nice, and that’s not all: if you only have a 1080p screen, don’t worry – Codemasters’ game will downscale to still offer visual improvements over the basic PlayStation 4.

F1 2017 will launch on August 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
