PlayStation Network’s Twitter Account Compromised

It’s possible that the hacker group managed to access the PlayStation Network‘s databases, too.

The team is called OurMine, who offers their services for a good reason for companies to make sure they do not have security breaches. OurMine wrote two tweets via the PlayStation Twitter account, but these are already deleted, so don’t bother searching for them: „PlayStation Network Databases leaked #OurMine […],” and „No, we aren’t going to share it, we are a security group, if you works [sic!] at PlayStation, then please go to our website […]”.

OurMine’s name might be familiar: the Saudi group previously hacked the Twitter accounts of John Hanke (creator of Pokémon Go), Jack Dorsey (co-founder of Twitter), and Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google).

OurMine, which can be considered as an ethical hacking group, will likely keep the PlayStation Network databases private unless they changed their ways. Regardless, Sony will have to pay them. Oh, they also were responsible for leaking Game of Thrones, too, plus PlayStation’s Facebook page was also affected…
