Is Marvel's The Avengers Going To Be Crystal Dynamics' Next Game?

Crystal Dynamics is working on a game which is happening due to the Disney-Square Enix deal: The Avengers.

On the NeoGAF forums, we have a topic that discusses Crystal Dynamics, the developers of the Tomb Raider reboot and its sequel. They are now working on The Avengers, which, going by the job listings, could be an online game with „multiple game modes and campaigns.” It is likely also going to be a cover-based third person shooter. Why? Aside from the Lead Level Designer job offer, there’s also a Lead Combat Designer post, which mentions this possibility, too.

It sounds too exact already, even though the game is likely in an early development phase. There’s nothing official announced either, so we will have to wait a bit more to hear about The Avengers.
