One of the surprise titles of THQ Nordic from Gamescom returns in a massive video.

Thanks to IGN, we received twenty-five minutes of gameplay of Experiment 101’s game, which is going to be an open world, post-apocalyptic, kung-fu movie-inspired RPG. It looks a bit like Horizon: Zero Dawn at first glance, but thankfully, there’s way more than that under the game’s hood, featuring this… rabbit, or squirrel… what is this animal?

We see the opening missions in the video below, providing a healthy mixture of Ratchet & Clank and other RPGs, featuring a fast-paced, enjoyable combat system. THQ Nordic has something gold in its hands – it might not be a game of the year contender, but it has a chance to succeed.

Biomutant should be out in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
