Star Wars: Battlefront II's Beta Contents Leaked!

We’re less than one month away from the beta of Battlefront II, but somebody already leaked what it will contain.

On Redditen Some_Info surfaced out of nowhere, and he jumped into deep water out right in June before EA Play, and he had correct information about the closed beta as well, not to mention the space combats before Gamescom happened.

In the game, according to his post, weather conditions will play a role in the fights. There will be three game modes on three maps total: Galactic Assault on Theed (40 players maximum), Starfighter Assault on Fondor (24 players), and Strike mode on the planet Takodana. Interestingly, there’s going to be an offline Skirmish mode as well, „called Arcade or something like that.” The heroes will be the same as seen during EA Play, there will also be a new vehicle, the LAAT gunship, but it may not be controlled, as it could be flying around on the map like how the U-Wing did on Scarif in the previous game. The graphics are also mentioned to get a boost.

The beta, which will require 14-16 gigabytes of free disk space, will launch on October 4 for pre-orderers, followed by the open beta portion on October 6. It will end on October 9, and the full game will launch on November 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
