Sony’s exclusive still offers superior technical performance even after releasing its expansion.

DigitalFoundry created a technical analysis of Horizon: Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, which launched roughly three weeks ago… although the physical edition (as the Complete Edition) of Guerrilla‘s (newest) work is still a week away from hitting the shelves. The team is amazed by how much of an improvement the DLC is over the base game!

In fact, they went as far as calling it one of the best 4K HDR experiences so far. The DLC brought along new technical details that the base game didn’t have: new snow deformation technology, improved lighting, and a bit of better animations as well.

We’d like to see more DLC like this. Congratulations, Guerrilla!
