Obsidian’s Next Game Will Have No Microtransactions!

The RPG, which recently got a publisher, will not ask for more money within the game.

Obsidian (Fallout New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth) struck a deal with Take-Two, who recently founded a new label called Private Division. They will also release Patrice Desilets’ (creator of Assassin’s Creed) long-awaited game called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey in the future.

Obsidian‘s website states that their next game, which is going to be an RPG (and that’s all we officially know about it!), will have no loot boxes or microtransactions! Private Division does not force them to implement these. Great!

Sometimes, you just need one honest sentence to gain support from your crowd, and this story might just be one of those situations. Let’s just hope we’ll hear more about the game shortly.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
