The creator of The Walking Dead praises the new Overkill game

Robert Kirkman says they are “making a great video game.”

The highly anticipated Overkill‘s The Walking Dead, the new video game developed by Payday’s creators, will go on sale in the fall of 2018; about four years after the game was announced. Why is so much expected? The creator of the comics The Walking Dead has been limited to say that from the beginning they have not imposed a specific release date.

“No date has been set, it’s a great video game,” said Robert Kirkman, making it clear that Overkill‘s The Walking Dead authors are more concerned with the quality of the game than with a release date.

Kirkman adds that Overkill wants the game “to be as good as possible”, hence the pulse has not trembled when it comes to postponing its launch from 2016 to autumn next year.
