The Development Is At Its „Climax” For The New Game Of The Devil May Cry Director

The development is at its peak for the unnamed project.

Hideaki Itsuno has been the director of the Devil May Cry series ever since DMC 2, and we can also tie Dragon’s Dogma to him, too. June was the last time he talked about his new game, but at the end of the year, he brought it up again on Twitter with a bit of Engrish.

„Happy new year! I am sorry that I can not present a new project last year. The development of the project is now under climax. I am making a great game, so please expect it,” Itsuno wrote. A year ago, he wrote that his new project would be revealed in 2017, which didn’t happen. What is he developing? Our guess is still Devil May Cry 5.

Previously, there were a lot of details leaked about the game on Reddit (and we wrote about it), and who else can be tied more to Devil May Cry than Itsuno? We’ll see perhaps at E3.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
