Is Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Heading To The PlayStation 4?

A developer already responded to the rumors.

They started on Reddit: the site believed based on a screencap (seen below) taken from Armature Studios’ website that Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which contains 2 and 3 from PS2, as well as the PSP title Peace Walker, already available on PS3, X360 and PS Vita, would see a new version on the PlayStation 4. Armature, which recently worked on Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, was helping with the development (which was mainly headed by Kojima Productions) for the PlayStation Vita port.

Jonathan Zamkoff, the head of business development of Armature, responded to DualShockers: „Unfortunately this was simply a typo by one of our web developers and is neither a leak nor indication that the MGS HD collection is coming to PS4. Or that Armature is working on any new MGS games.” The error was fixed already.

Previously, we wrote about another rumor regarding the first game, which would celebrate its 20th anniversary in Japan in September. Perhaps Konami is planning something with the first Metal Gear Solid…
