Detroit: Become Human: PlayStation 4 Pro-Support Detailed

Of course, there will be PlayStation 4 Pro-support for Sony’s one of the major exclusives this year…

On ResetEra, a screenshot surfaced of Quantic Dream‘s (Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain, Fahrenheit) GDC presentation. It describes how the conflict between humans and androids will be supported on the old/Slim PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 4 Pro models, respectively.

The ordinary PlayStation 4 will go for 1080p and thirty frames per second, but it will support HDR. It will also have 192x108x64 volumetric lighting. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 Pro, while keeping the HDR-support, will go for a checkerboard 2160p resolution on thirty frames per second (no performance mode like how God of War will get one?), and the graphical user interface will be in native 4K. The volumetric lighting will also be raised to 235x135x64.

So those who own a PlayStation 4 Pro can expect better lighting effects and a higher resolution on May 25, when the game launches.
