Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: Season Pass And Game Editions Unveiled

Lara Croft is coming back, but how?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was properly unveiled yesterday, and as with all major AAA games, we won’t get away without multiple versions and a Season Pass. Regarding the latter, new information surfaced on this site. But first, let’s take a look at the box art:

„The Season Pass delivers seven new adventures called “Paths,” with each Path including new narrative, new missions, a Challenge Tomb, a new weapon, a new outfit and a new skill. The first Challenge Tomb will also introduce new co-op functionality. Finally, Season Pass owners receive an exclusive weapon, outfit, and skill on Day One!”, Tomb Raider’s website says. Those who pre-order the game can start playing it forty-eight hours before everyone else, regardless of the purchased edition. (It starts to be a trend, too…)

The Digital Deluxe version will have another pre-order bonus in the shape of the Skills Booster Pack, and you will also get the soundtrack and an outfit/weapons pack. Steam users get a wallpaper, Xbox One users will receive an avatar outfit, and the PlayStation 4-owners will get a dynamic theme as a plus.

The Croft Edition drops the Skills Booster Pack, but aside from the early access/soundtrack/weapons-outfit pack, it will also contain the game’s Season Pass.

The Ultimate Edition will have the Season Pass, the soundtrack, three additional weapons and costumes, and physically, you will also get Lara’s climbing ax as a bottle opener, a flashlight, and a mini Lara Croft statue.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider, developed by Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics, is going to be the final part of the 2013 reboot trilogy. It will launch on September 14 (or 12 if you pre-order the game) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Have a look at a few concept artwork and screenshots.
