Battlefield V: Electronic Arts’ Autumn Major Game Got Announced

We already knew that Electronic Arts is going to release a Battlefield game this autumn, but until now, it wasn’t confirmed that it will be called Battlefield V.

Electronic Arts announced that we can expect the same scenario as with Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII – after the short announcement, they will hold a program (which will be broadcast online, too) to reveal the game adequately. Electronic Arts/DICE thus also said when this event would happen.

It’s going to be on May 23, and it will start at 1 PM Pacific/4 PM Easter/10 PM CET, and it will be hosted by Trevor Noah (the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central). Then, we might learn if the rumors were true. Will it have a World War II setting? Will it contain a battle royale game mode?

The publisher might not say everything here, though – the EA Play will likely have some more information about the game, which should be getting a detailed gameplay demo (like two years ago with Battlefield 1 or last year with Star Wars: Battlefront 2.)

You can watch the event on YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer.
