Kingdom Come: Deliverance Director Cancels Speech At GameLab!

Daniel Vávra will not have his speech held at GameLab (which is in Barcelona).

„I am sorry to inform that Daniel Vávra has canceled his talk at GameLab after receiving serious insults through social networks. We respect his decission [sic!], but we are sorry to miss his interesting insights about the development of one of the best European games this year,” Ivan Fernandez Lobo, one of the founders of GameLab, wrote on Twitter.

We don’t know yet what kind of insults did the director of Kingdom Come: Deliverance receive (neither about the site where he got them), but he did get a lot of press appearances recently due to the release and the post-release support of the medieval RPG. He might have also received some flak from people due to supporting the GamerGate movement.

So Vávra isn’t going to give us insights into Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and he should also talk about this situation. However, we doubt that it would happen…

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
